Let It Ride Rules

The Basics
The online casino version of Let It Ride Poker is a card game played against the dealer and not against any other players. The aim of the casino gambling is to obtain the highest-ranking Poker hand – which must feature at least a pair of tens to qualify – while keeping the maximum bet on the table.
Playing the Game
The game begins with a player placing the usual ante bet ahead of any cards being dealt. In Let It Ride Poker the ante consists of three identical value bets. Some online poker versions of the casino gambling also allow players to make an additional side (or ‘Bonus’) bet at this time too, which pays off a fixed sum on achieving a specified hand (see below for a table giving an example of these payoffs).

Once the ante has been bet the dealer delivers three cards to the casino poker player face up, and three in front of the dealer position, face down. The player can now choose to withdraw the first of the three ante bets (Pull Bet) or “Let It Ride’ by keeping all bets on the table. The dealer then discards the fourth card (i.e. the first of the three ‘face down’ cards on the table) and turns over the fifth card. Now the player can choose to Pull the second bet of his /her ante or continue to Let It Ride before the dealer turns over the remaining face down card and the player’s hand must be evaluated.

Providing the player’s final hand has at least a pair of tens in it, the casino poker player has won and their payoff is determined by the quality of the winning hand and the value of the ante bet that has not been ‘Pulled’.

Playing Online
Before playing Let It Ride at a chosen online casino, it’s always a good idea to check its published game guides to find out about the operation of the casino’s specific software and any variations in the basic gameplay / betting we’ve described above. If a freeplay version of the game is available, we’d always recommend using this to play a few hands for fun first to get used to the betting and other player controls.
