5 Card Stud Rules

The Basics
This casino-style of Poker (which you may see called Caribbean or Cyber Stud Poker) is a card game where each player is pitted against the dealer rather than against each other. Once you’ve placed an antebet you receive your hand while the dealer receives theirs, four cards down and one face up for you to see. You then have the opportunity to bet on or fold your hand depending on how you rate your chances of beating the dealer when they finally reveal their full hand. If you choose to bet, the dealer’s hand is then revealed. You win if the dealer’s hand fails to qualify for consideration (i.e. it doesn’t include an Ace/ King combination or better) or qualifies but is beaten in comparison to your hand. The payoff you receive for winning is related to the quality of the hand you win with.
